Upper Square belongs with its Gothic& Renaissance-style and partly Baroque-style houses from the end of the 15th century to the town´s historic core.

A Late Gothic-style mansion house with Renaissance elements situated in the place where initially the castle stood was rebuilt in the 16th century and served as a residence of powerful noble houses - the Houses of Pernstein and Žerotín.
